Youth Training Zone

Term time Weekdays: 15:30-16:15 & 16:15-17:00 School Holidays: 11:00-12:00

Youth Training Zone is a supervised gym session for 13-15 year olds. Our qualified instructors will help the students develop safe techniques and familiarise themselves with all of our gym equipment. Students enjoy to work out with friends after school!

Students can tap into the expertise of our instructors and gain programmes depending on what their fitness goals are. Students can work through an induction card which would enable them to use the gym without supervision once they turn 16. 


Swim and Run

Sundays 8am-9:30am during term time (ages 8+)

We’re excited to launch our brand-new Swim & Run session, starting this Sunday! Perfect for athletes looking to build endurance, speed, and confidence across two disciplines, this session combines structured swim training with an energising run workout.

Designed to challenge and motivate, each session focuses on technique, fitness, and smooth transitions, helping athletes develop strength and stamina in a fun, supportive environment. Whether you’re training for competition or just want to boost your overall fitness, this is a great way to start your Sunday morning.

Monday 4-5pm during term time (ages 8+)

ATHLETICS IS BACK – MONDAYS 4–5PM!

Get ready to run faster, jump higher, and throw further! Our athletics sessions take place every Monday from 4:00–5:00pm, packed with energy, skill-building, and fun.

Whether you’re new to athletics or looking to sharpen your technique, these sessions are designed to build speed, strength, confidence, and teamwork in a positive and motivating environment. Expect dynamic warm-ups, exciting drills, and plenty of opportunities to challenge yourself and track your progress.

When: Mondays, 4:00–5:00pm
What: Fun, fast-paced athletics training
Why: Improve fitness, learn new skills, and have a great time

Wednesdays 4-5pm during term time (ages 8+)

Work on your netball skills and have fun with Chantelle in the sports hall (out on the hard courts during the summer).

Swimming Pool

As a Sports Academy member you have access to the swimming pool as any other member of Kings Fitness would have. Our pool is 25m long with a depth of 1.6m in the deep end.

If you are a competant swimmer (someone who can swim a length unaided), and over 8 years old you can swim alone. Ages 3-4 = 1 adult to 2 children, Ages 5-7 = 1 adult to 3 children.


Kickboxing

Wednesdays 6-7pm (ages 5+), 7-8pm (ladies)

Join our highly experienced coach Mel in our junior kickboxing sessions which are a fun way for children to build self-confidence, learn discipline, develop self-defence and improve their health and fitness!

BRAND NEW for September - We are opening up these classes to adults with a ladies class running from 7-8pm.


Junior basketball

Tuesdays 4-5pm & 5-5:45pm during term time (ages 8+)

Our experienced coach Paul will work on developing your basketball skills, tactical awareness and work on game play in this fun and ever popular session.


Junior Rackets

Fridays 4-5pm & 5-6pm during term time (ages 8+)

Our popular rackets sessions ran by Diogo focus on badminton, table tennis and short tennis. Children work on skills and learn match-play.


Football

TUESDAYS 4-5PM TERM TIME ONLY (AGES 8+)

Join Diogo on the astro turf every Tuesday, where you will work through a variety of skills and techniques associated with Football. You will also gain a wider understanding of the tactical side of football, and learn to put this into practice in game environments.
