In order to use the gym at Kings Fitness we insist you complete a gym induction. Getting you set up with the correct exercises, weights, classes and programme is key in making the time you spend here worthwhile!
By outlining your targets to one of our qualified staff we will tailor an exercise programme for you. Furthermore, we can create a re programme depending on your progress. We appreciate sometimes life gets in the way, this should be embraced; however let us get you back on track by booking in with one of our members of staff.

FREE WEIGHTS & RESISTANCE MACHINES
The Kings Fitness Gym has a range of free weights and Resistance machines to keep you challenged. We have 2 sets of 2kg–40kg dumbbells and 1 set of 42kg–50kg dumbbells. In addition there are 4 Weight Benches, 2 Squat Racks, 2 Bench Presses, 1 Smith Machine, Plate loaded leg press and hamstring curl
The gym at Kings boasts a vast area for cardiovascular training. There are 30 individual machines including: 8 Treadmills, 4 upright exercise bikes, 1 Hand bike, 1 Recumbent bike, 2 Power Mills, 5 Cross Trainer, 4 Rowers, 2 Indoor Cycling Bikes, 2 striders & 2 SPARCS. With in built training programmes you can make your session as challenging as you wish. Cardiovascular machines features touch screens, USB/Bluetooth connections with app, Spotify, Free View TV with Netflix and an extensive range of training programs and virtual trainers.
SYNRGY 360 & FUNCTIONAL FITNESS
Synrgy 360 has proved to be, over the years an immensely popular piece of kit in the Kings Fitness gym. Whether people participate in a class or use the kit for their own personal workout, the possibilities are endless. Synrgy 360 can facilitate TRX training harnesses, a punch bag, resistance bands, monkey bars, battle ropes, vipr, medicine balls, kettlebells and much more.
Spend time in the strectch area where you can spend time working on flexibilty and mobility.
PERSONAL TRAINING AT KINGS
Our personal trainers can ensure you get the very best out of your workouts, guiding you on correct technique, advising on volumes, sets and training routines, lifestyle and nutritional information. Using a personal trainer enhances your fitness faster, safer and with better results. Knowing your trainer is booked will also ensure you make that workout.

Whether you are recovering from an injury, illness or you have been advised to increase your activity levels, we want to create an environment where you feel happy, safe and part of a group! Whatever your age, condition or story; we want to be there for you every step of your fitness journey. Attend an appointment and get a programme tailored to your needs.
Our scheme works in partnership with local GP surgeries. It is open to anyone who might have some medical complaint that would benefit from physical activity. Visit you local GP and ask for information about the scheme. If your GP considers you to be a suitable candidate, or you’re unsure, you will either be given paperwork; or you can simply phone us to book an appointment with our coordinator.

LEGS BUM TUMS
A class designed to tone & shape the areas we all want to improve. The class will include some cardio, floor work & sweating!
Interconnected movements with a breathing pattern, integrating mind & body. We have an advanced Pilates class for those who have been to the general class and want a little extra push!
A fantastic way to increase functional strength & fitness. A gym based circuit class with new & improved equipment to squeeze the most out of your muscles.
A drop in class that develops flexibility, strength & stamina through practice asanas (poses).
Dance based fun fitness class! Enjoy Latin based music where you will most definitely build a sweat without realising! Suitable for all levels.
FITNESS CLASS ETIQUETTE

• Wear clothes/trainers that are suitable for the class. Please have water with you.
• Please inform the instructor of any medical conditions you may have.
• Classes operate on a first come first serve basis. Please ensure you register at reception otherwise your space could be given to those on a waiting list.
• Classes can be booked up to 2 weeks in advance (Gold members); if you know you are not coming to a class please cancel in advance, otherwise your advanced booking privileges could be removed.
It is our aim to provide safe, effective & enjoyable classes with professional Instruction. All Kings instructors are appropriately qualified & experienced. Classes are continually assessed. Due to unforeseen circumstances, classes could be changed at short notice. Please ensure you book in so you can be contacted if classes are changed.
