Thank you once again for your continued support to Kings Fitness and Leisure. We really appreciate your ongoing commitment during some challenging times nationally. Due to these continued challenges, we have undertaken a review of our pricing structure for memberships at the Centre.
The Leisure Centre has long been determined to keep membership affordable and to offer value for money to members. We have reviewed the cost of inflation and the continued increase in energy prices, which impacts on all the services we offer, alongside our commitment to investing in the future of our Leisure Centre and providing services to the highest standard.
As a result of the review, from 1st September 2025, membership prices will increase by £2 per month per member. The price adjustments will allow us to continue to offer the high-quality membership benefits you currently enjoy.
The most recent upgrade to the centre was a full refurbishment of the swimming pool changing rooms, and we plan for the continuation of the new flooring around the swimming pool next summer. We estimate the works to be completed in just under 2 weeks. More information will follow in the New Year.
Recent improvements onsite have enhanced parking, access, safety, and security. The road to the tennis courts which is used as an overflow car park after school hours has been widened to include a pedestrian walkway, allowing two-way traffic and safer access for pedestrians. Additional fencing has been installed to improve site security, especially out of school hours, and the removal of a public cut-through route further secures the site, making the site compliant with new published legislation. These improvements will continue with the installation of floodlights on the Tennis Courts later in the year.

We are fortunate to host a selection of outstanding local businesses on-site, providing our members with convenient access to a variety of services. These include Beauty by Kimberly, and our newest addition, Salt Hair Studio. We warmly welcome them to our community.
